Yes. Applying is free and core functionality is free for approved accounts. Optional paid subscription tiers unlock advanced design, custom domains, higher limits, and priority support, but you are never required to upgrade in order to use CHMD.

How does the CHMD approval process work?

Every Professional, Licensed Provider, and Vendor application is manually reviewed by CHMD staff. We verify the credentials that apply to your user type - NPI, DEA, state license, business EIN, insurance, W-9, and identity. Approvals typically take a few business days depending on volume. Your account status is visible in your portal at all times.

What documents do I need to apply?

It depends on your user type. Licensed Providers need NPI, state license, and (if applicable) DEA. Sellers need their EIN or business license, a W-9, and relevant insurance or licensing. Wellness Professionals need proof of identity and their certifications or credentials in their field. The application form guides you through exactly what to upload.

Can I join as more than one user type?

Each email signs up as one professional-side user type per account. If you have distinct roles - for example, you're both a Licensed Provider and run a separate vendor business - you can apply with separate accounts using different emails. CHMD also supports practice-owner LPs inviting staff LPs under a shared parent account.

How long until I can start taking patients or orders?

Once your application is approved by CHMD staff and you finish the onboarding checklist (profile details, credentials, payout method, first product or service or appointment availability), your public-facing profile and storefront can go live the same day.

How are payouts handled?

Connect a Stripe or PayPal account in the Payout Hub. CHMD holds funds through the standard hold window to protect against chargebacks and refund clawbacks, then releases ready balances to you on request. Every payout, processor fee, reserve, and clawback is recorded in a ledger you can export at any time.

Can I get kicked off for bad behavior?

Yes. CHMD protects member safety above everything. Accounts can be suspended or removed for fraud, misrepresented credentials, unsafe clinical practices, serious terms violations, or abusive behavior toward patients or other members. Our goal is a trusted network - we enforce that.

What happens to my data if I leave?

You can close your account at any time. We retain only what we're legally required to keep (transaction records, tax documents, etc.) and delete the rest according to our data retention policy. You'll have the option to export your patient list, order history, and content before closing.
